Father/Son 50th and 21st Birthday Invite Wording

by Maria
(New Jersey Shore)

My husband and son share the same birthday. This year they are turning 50 and 21. Need help with wording invitations.
Hope you can help come up with something clever.

Hi Maria,

Sorry it took me a little while to get back here. Anyway here are a couple of ideas I came up with. Maybe you can turn them into something great for your invitations.

PS. I made up names and the date for the examples.

Idea #1

What a Milestone! August 21st is a very special day!

Over the hill and a brand new grown up on the very same day? How could the stars line up so well?

Help us celebrate a 50th for Joe and a 21st for Joey with a surprise party at….

Idea #2

One starting up and the other starting down. It’s a big day for the hill!

On August 21st, Joe will be starting over the hill, but Joey will just be starting up it. Help us surprise these special guys on the milestone birthday they share when they turn 50 and 21.

Good luck!

I hope these ideas will spark something fun for you to use on your invitations! Good luck with the party planning for your two special guys and such a neat occasion.

If these don’t feel right to you, think about the theme and venue of your party and see if you can tie in with those.

Let us know if you come up with something perfect. Also, in case you didn’t see it already, there was a similar question a few months ago, so check that out in case it gives you ideas, too.

Best wishes,
